"This is good news for all employees of CURRENTA, Chemion and Tectrion - and for the entire Chempark! With Mira - an experienced infrastructure investor - as a long-term owner at our side, we will be able to further develop our growth and innovation-focused strategy. Chempark will continue to stand for attractive and competitive framework conditions in the future".
Dr. Alexander Wagner, CURRENTA Managing Director and Labor Director, adds:
"We got to know MIRA as a company that relies on trusting cooperation with the operating companies, the employees, the works council and the municipalities. As part of the change of ownership, MIRA and CURRENTA have agreed that the close partnership with the employee representatives will be continued. In addition, it has been agreed that CURRENTA will continue to operate under its own brand and in the established business setup. The sites in Leverkusen, Dormagen and Krefeld-Uerdingen will continue to operate".
