Polymers under REACh

We offer you comprehensive support on all questions concerning polymers under REACh.

  • What are PRRs and how do I find out?
  • What are PRRs and how do I find out?
  • How is a polymer defined under REACh?
  • What are my obligations as a producer/importer?

In other words, we answer your questions and offer the appropriate analytical solutions (GPC analysis, physico-chemical properties, e.g. OECD 120). Of course, also under GLP or ISO conditions if required.

For you, this means that you get consulting and laboratory services tailored to your needs from a single source. Often unnecessary studies can be avoided, thus saving you money.

How can we support you?

Up to now, polymers have been exempt from compulsory registration under the REACh regulation. Within the framework of the “EU green deal”, significant adjustments to the REACh regulation are planned, which, can be result in a registration obligation for polymers in the medium term. The details of the procedure are still unclear. However, it is already foreseeable that the data requirements will increase. Based on polymer characteristics (molar mass distribution, PC data such as solubility, logKOW, surface activity, etc.), it must be clarified whether PRRs (polymer required for registration) or nPRRs are involved.

We are happy to help you here.

You benefit from our combination of analytical competence and expertise in regulatory requirements, avoid unnecessary studies and you are well prepared for all upcoming changes of the REACh regulation.
